BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Lawrence J. Lucido was awarded a BA degree from Excelsior College (then named University of the State of New York) in 1994 a JD degree from Northern Illinois University in 1997. Mr. Lucido graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois University and has also completed approximately 24 hours toward an LLM in Corporate and Finance Law at Wayne State University.

Mr. Lucido was admitted to practice in the federal and state courts in Illinois in 1997 and was admitted to practice in the federal and state courts in Michigan in 1998, and remains in good standing in each jurisdiction. Mr. Lucido worked as an assistant prosecutor in DeKalb County, Illinois while also working as a patrol sergeant with the Northern Illinois University Police Department.

Mr. Lucido has handled bankruptcy cases in the Northern District of Illinois and the Eastern District of Michigan, and has been in private practice since November 1997. While Mr. Lucido is still taking cases, he has slowed down his practice and the majority of the cases he handles are referrals from prior clients.

In addition to bankruptcy Mr. Lucido handles debt settlement, probate/estate planning, divorce, and business contract cases. He has also worked in the corporate legal departments of Ford Motor Company, National Steel Corporation and Clayton Environmental Services.

Mr. Lucido also volunteers to perform pro-bono legal services with Christian Legal Aid of Southeastern Michigan.
